I first met Nick Lambert, of ZeroSeven, when my company purchased a magazine which he had played a key creative role in since start-up. It was one of those slightly awkward situations where we needed his co-operation but weren’t sure how he’d feel providing information that he knew was potentially going to reduce his company’s involvement. We needn’t have worried. Right from the get-go Nick was open and generous with his knowledge and expertise and the firm foundations for an ongoing business relationship were soon put in place. Since then we have made frequent use of Nick’s skills not only as a graphic designer, but also as an ace photographer and very competent writer on our publications.
Nick has handled several demanding overseas assignments on our behalf and always impresses us with his organization and attention to detail in the planning of a job.
When we launced a new magazine (New Zealand Road Cyclist) we turned to Nick for creative guidance. As always he over-delivered with a superbly thorough design brief and his input is responsible in no small way for the magazine already being #1 in its sales category.
I’ve worked with many graphic designers in my publishing career and I recommend Nick Lambert as being right up there
with the very best of them.
I have enjoyed working with Nick on a number of projects now. I find him to be accommodating and very easy to work with.
His creativity is really well thought out and he gave us plenty of options to work with. I would happily recommend him and look forward to the next project we work on together.

Nick’s key strengths for ARC are responsiveness, efficiency and turn around time. When I ask for something, he swiftly grasps what I am after and gets it back to me quickly. He operates commercially – which a lot of graphic designers don’t seem to.
